The 5-Year Techo joined the lineup in 2018. Its page design makes it easy to keep up with for all five years. Each daily page lines up the same date across five years for users to write each entry side by side, making the book more exciting as each year passes. The book includes all the benefits and features of the standard Hobonichi Techo, such as the grid paper layout on the Tomoe River paper, lay-flat binding for easy writing, and daily quotes. The 2019 edition adds a comfortable A5-size 5-Year Techo to the existing A6 size.
