SteiffWallet Teddy (Chocolate)Weeks Cover Only
This is the third year we’ve collaborated with German plush toy maker Steiff. This year’s theme is “Trinity,” and features a trio of teddy bears in this short story.

The Wallet Teddy (Chocolate) Weeks trifold cover is reminiscent of an actual teddy bear with the way it’s covered in curly, chocolate brown fur. Sold separately is a Teddy Bear Keychain you can hook onto your cover for an extra-special, cute look.
Steiff teddy bears use high-quality yarn called mohair, made from the hair of the Angora goat. The cover exterior and pen holders are made with this very same mohair and feature a curly variety that gives a “toy poodle” feel to the teddy bear fur to capture your heart.
This techo cover keeps the trademark button and yellow tag featured in the left ears of Steiff plush toys. The tag designates that the product has passed the maker’s strict quality standards before being imported into Japan from Germany. This product is extremely rare in bearing the trademark, as Steiff has historically reserved the distinct honor for its plush toys. As we did last year, we’ll be sending the finished products to the Steiff headquarters in Germany to have the buttons and tags attached.
The cover contains two snap buttons to securely fasten the cover shut.
Unfastening the button and opening the cover reveal a luxurious, high-quality brown leather in the interior. The cover contains a space to insert your Weeks book cover and pockets in a variety of sizes. The pen hook inside the cover can hold a pen by the clip.
Just as its name suggests, Wallet Teddy is designed to serve as a wallet in addition to a techo cover. It has a zip-up pocket where you can store coins, and there are plenty of pockets for storing cards.
The cover has a gold-colored metal ring at the top that allows you to attach a Trinity-theme Teddy Bear Keychain of choice to your cover. (*Keychain sold separately.)
The Steiff cover is delivered in a specially crafted chocolate-brown case. The gold-leaf engraving on the cover reads in German, “TRINITY DIE DREI BÄREN,” or Trinity - The Three Bears” and “GEMEINSCHAFTSPRODUKTION VON STEIFF UND HOBONICHI,” meaning “Collaborative product of Steiff and Hobonichi.”

- Leather may contain preexisting wrinkles and marks
In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover,
such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.
Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.- Leather coloring stains
Dyed leather products tend to leave stains. Please be careful not to allow the leather to adhere or rub against other objects such as clothing or other belongings, especially if the bag is wet from water or sweat from your hands.
- Interior leather may be loose
The interior leather of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Placement of button and tag vary
The "button in ear" atop the cover is attached by hand in Germany. The position and direction of the tag, and the direction of its button, vary.
- Immediately dry if it gets wet
Immediately dab your product with a dry cloth if it gets wet. Avoid drying it with high temperatures, and place it in a well-ventilated place in the shade.
- Avoid storing in hot and humid places
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
- Material contains variances in color and coat
The natural material contains variances in color and coat between each product.
- Actual specifications may vary from listing
Each item is individually assembled and sewn by hand by a factory worker. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- This cover is meant to be fitted with one side of the Weeks book cover
This cover is designed to hold only one side of the planner book cover. Forcing both sides of the book into the cover will place stress on the book spine and may cause ripping or hinder the zipper.
