The 5-Year Techo features a page design that makes it easy to keep up with for all five years. Each daily page lines up the same date across five years for users to write each entry side by side, making the book more exciting as each year passes. The book includes all the benefits and features of the standard Hobonichi Techo, such as the grid paper layout on the Tomoe River paper, lay-flat binding for easy writing, and daily quotes. The book cover is made of slightly textured PVC and is reminiscent of some softcover dictionaries and bibles. The book comes in two sizes: the A6 “Hobonichi 5-Year Techo” and the A5 “Large Hobonichi 5-Year Techo.” The cover of the book is a few millimeters larger than the paper size.
