Astro Boy: Everlasting “Paper” Bag
Hobonichi’s Everlasting Paper Bag is a longseller of parent site Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun since 2000. Although it’s named “paper bag,” in reality it’s made from a light yet sturdy polyester. We’ve named it an everlasting paper bag to illustrate how it can be used light-heartedly like a paper bag, but can be used over and over again.
It would be useful to carry one so you can pull it out when you shop, go to the gym, or suddenly need to carry home more items than you brought.
For the Hobonichi Techo 2021, to match the Astro Boy techo cover, we made an Astro Boy Everlasting Paper Bag. The background are off white and yellow stripes, with Astro Boy’s face on one side, and Astro Boy taking off on the other side printed in green.
The pocket on the interior has a phrase from the manga: “Make your own happy ending!”

- About the Everlasting "Paper" Bag
・Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.
The fabric may turn soft, or the print or coating on the inside may peel off when heat is applied with items such as hair dryers and irons. Please also be sure not to leave the bag in places that are hot and humid, or under direct heat such as inside a car on an especially sunny day.
・Do not leave wet for extended period of time.
When the product is left damp or is rubbed when damp, the coating on the fabric may gradually peel off. The bag may be used in rainy conditions, but be sure not to keep it wet for an extended period of time.
・Not recommended to wash in washing machine.
The prints and coating on the fabric will peel off when rubbed when the bag is wet. We recommend you not to wash it in the washing machine.
・If the product gets dirty, please wipe with a wet towel that is properly wringed out.
・Do not use benzine, solvents, or other alcohol-based cleaners.
