The Hobonichi Everlasting “Paper” Bag is a bag in the shape of a paper bag, but is made with 100% polyester. This bag has been a popular staple product of parent site Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun since 2000.



The size is big enough to carry six 2-litre water bottles. The handle is long, so it’s easy to use while hanging it from your shoulders.



There are two designs to the Mother Everlasting “Paper” Bag lineup. Cast is a sophisticated-looking design with a dark gray base that’s printed in dark green with images of various characters from MOTHER 2 / EarthBound. Mr. Saturn / Pink has a cute, pop look with a bright, energetic pink bag and mint green handles.



Years ago, Shigesato Itoi found himself wanting a sturdy bag that could get wet so he could always use it to keep his trash when out fishing all the time. That's where the Everlasting Bag came in.



This bag looks like a tote bag at first glance, but it’s best used roughly like you’re using a paper bag (thus, the name Everlasting “Paper” Bag).



It would be useful to carry one so you can pull it out when you shop, go to the gym, commute, or when you travel.



It will also come in handy when you use it at home. You can put your laundry in temporarily, or use it to organize your closet by storing and dividing your clothes into these bags.
