Making its debut in the Hobonichi Techo 2023 lineup is the Hobonichi Techo HON, which has a hardcover design already attached to the book. It’s designed to make you feel like you’re carrying around a favorite book, which you can pull out at any time to make notes no matter where you are. The book has A6 size pages and features a page per day, so the contents are the same as the Japanese-language Hobonichi Techo Original.
The Bunnies design uses the same fabric as the Bow & Tie series for the Weeks, which is the textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The gloss and soft touch of the material makes this series really stand out..
The Bunnies HON book cover has a navy background and is lined with cute brown bunnies that are sitting, standing up to look around, holding a four-leaf clover, and showing off their round little tails. The various poses have been created in detail through the woven necktie material.
The HON has two attached bookmarks—one navy and one beige—so you can mark your place in frequently used pages.
We also recommend this book as a good luck charm as 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit. Look closely at the cover and you’ll see a rabbit wearing a bow tie.
The book spine is foil-pressed in silver with the year 2023 and the HON logo for easy reference when placed in your bookshelf alongside other books.
The endpaper is printed with a repeating pattern of the HON name.
Just like the Hobonichi Techo Original, the HON opens flat 180 degrees so you can use it comfortably without having to hold the pages down.
To celebrate the HON’s debut in the Hobonichi Techo 2023 lineup, we’ve included a special pencil board with an original design. The A6 size pencil board is translucent with a 5mm graph design printed onto it. It also has measurements in increments of 1 mm printed along the side so you can use the pencil board as a ruler. This pencil board is an all-new type that includes a place to store a ballpoint pen by its clip, so you can bring the pencil board and pen wherever you take your HON.
When you purchase this techo through the Hobonichi Techo Official Website, you will receive free Hobonichi Store exclusives: the 3-Color Jetstream Ballpoint Pen (with a brown and navy pen body for 2023) and the Almost-Precious Item Bag.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.
The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.
Characteristics of materials and product design may result in white spots on the edges and corners of the front and back. The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.
The cover of the HON book is thicker and sturdier than the standard Hobonichi Techo Original/Planner, so it will not fit into a Hobonichi Techo cover. The Cover on Cover will also not fit onto the HON book, so please avoid forcing them onto the book in order to prevent damage.
