We created a set solely composed with black pens for anyone who simply loves to write, or wants to find their ideal pen by trying them out.



The pens were chosen by Hobonichi Techo team members who love stationery. We chose five black pens that are easy to use on a daily basis and come in handy in various situations.



The first pen we chose is the fountain pen Preppy. The pen nib is made from stainless steel strong against friction, so you can use it casually despite it being a fountain pen. It has a fine nib of 0.3mm that allows you to write in small letters easily and has a smooth writing experience.



The second pen is the Pulaman, a water-based pen that delivers a smooth writing experience with its lightness and flowing ink. This pen features a supple flat-tip that allows you to control the thickness of your strokes depending on how much pressure you apply to it or the direction of the pen tip to create handwriting with expression.



The third pen is the Brush-Touch Felt Tip Pen in which you can enjoy the “brush” feel. The bouncy pen tip allows you to write in your desired thickness is perfect when you want to write words or draw illustrations with a warming touch.



The fourth pen is the Lead Holder with a thick lead with a smooth writing experience that is resilient to breaking. The stylish lead holder has a natural wooden body of American Incense Cedar. It comes with a small lead pointer to sharpen the lead.



The fifth pen is the oil-based ink pen Pin Pen with a extra fine pen tip to easily write in small areas. You can write in small areas without it blurring and has a smooth writing experience. We recommend using it to write on smooth surfaces such as photos and washi tape.



We collected five pens with various writing experiences for this set. so we hope you use between the pens depending on what you write on or the situation you’re writing in.
