minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs.
piece, is a series of patchwork covers assembled by hand using all the left-over pieces saved during the production of clothing. The union of meticulously created textiles of various colors, fabrics, and styles gives the design a completely new look.
Weeks Mix combines a total of nine designs so you can enjoy the different textures and feels of every textile.
The cover interior is made from cow leather in a refreshing shade of blue. It’s accented on the top left with a butterfly embroidery.
The pen hook is designed to hold a pen by its clip.
The zipper pull contains a loop made of natural leather, which is accented with a butterfly charm.
Each patch is cut from a different spot in the original textile and sewn into the patchwork by hand, giving every cover an entirely unique look. Due to the limited nature of the textile leftovers used in the patchwork, this cover is available through lottery sale.
1. symphony (2019-20 Autumn / Winter)
This colorful embroidered textile evokes the image of inhabitants of the forest, plants, and the symphony created by light.
2. land puzzle (2013-14 Autumn / Winter)
Corduroy ridges form various patterns, with shadows and 3D effects making it look like a scene you’re looking down on from the sky.
3. oasis (2006 Spring / Summer)
This textile depicts horses on a cotton fabric. The original illustration featured pencil-drawn horses surrounded by blue dyed paper hand-crumpled and pasted around the them.
4. rosy (2018-19 Autumn / Winter)
Thick threads draw out blooming roses that protrude from the fabric for a simple and gentle look reminiscent of an oil painting.
5. roof (2001-02 Autumn / Winter)
This textile was drawn in a way to evoke depth by combining large and small herringbone patterns in a row of ellipses. It's thought that even the twill line of the plain section can create shadows and expressions by matching it against the slope of the herringbone.
6. jardin (2017-18 Autumn / Winter)
This garden scene shows flowers blooming in the sunlight and casting shadows. Although the textile is woven, the pattern retains deep colors that make it look like an oil painting.
7. tambourine (2000-01 Autumn / Winter)
Freehand-drawn circles are embroidered in dots that protrude from the fabric in this minä perhonen classic.
8. moss pearl (2019 Spring / Summer)
Asymmetrical Jacquard velvet spots dot this symmetrically woven checkered pattern. You can feel the vitality behind this textile’s uneven look.
9. yula (2021-22 Autumn / Winter)
This textile depicts flowers blooming side by side and swaying in the gentle wind.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.
Each item is individually assembled and sewn by hand by a factory worker. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.
Please note that embroidered areas may contain threads that protrude from the design.
Stitching may be slightly curved or bumpy as a result of sewing together materials of various thicknesses.
The textiles comprising the patchwork design differ by design and location for each cover. Please understand the random nature of the design before ordering.
In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover, such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.
Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.
The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.
This cover is designed to hold only one side of the planner book cover. Forcing both sides of the book into the cover will place stress on the book spine and may cause ripping or hinder the zipper.
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
This item can also be used with the Weeks Mega.
