KAWAISOUNI!Opanchu Usagi (Calendar)Weeks Hardcover Book (Japanese)

  • 2024 New

“Opanchu Usagi” is a character illustrated by KAWAISOUNI!, an illustrator and animator especially popular on social media. The Opanchu Usagi wearing a large “Opanchu” underwear and always in a somewhat “Kawaisou” pitiful situation gives a sense of indescribable cuteness and melancholy.

The bright yellow color of “Opanchu Usagi (Calendar)” makes it eye-catching even inside your bag. It is a Weeks book with an all-over pattern of illustrations related to Japanese events of the year, such as Setsubun demon masks, carp streamer decorations, teru-teru-bozu dolls, and many different Opanchu Usagi. The images for events are exclusive to Hobonichi Techo.

The year 2024 written on the front cover and the spine is in the same mint blue color. The spine has the Opanchu Usagi logo, 2024 wearing a pink ribbon, and an Opanchu.

Your year will become even more delightful with Opanchu Usagi!

For all those who relate to “Opanchu Usagi”

As creators of the Hobonichi Techo, we love “Opanchu Usagi!” We decided to create a techo cover, Weeks book, and so much stationery following the “Hobonichi Techo 2023 Spring.”

Opanchu Usagi is so popular that there are already many goods out there. We decided to create items that are cute, high quality, and truly Hobonichi. And since Opanchu Usagi has been evolving more and more since its first appearance, such as facial expressions showing various emotions, we made sure to keep those faces and poses in mind.

The illustrations of stationery on the techo covers and stationery were created just for this techo. We also wanted a stationery product with them, so we even made a mini card set.

We made “Opanchu Usagi (Stationery)” made of casual PVC material to make young Opanchu Usagi fans comfortable. You can use it conveniently and enjoyably with functional pockets on the front and back.

The illustrations of seasonal items on the Weeks book are also exclusive to the techo. We are glad we could have these illustrations that give a sense of the seasons since the Weeks book is used up over the year.

We hope you have fun with every detail of the illustrations on the techo and stationery!

Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

Test fountain pens before regular use

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River / Tomoe River S paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

Cover corners are slightly bumpy and shiny

The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.

Foil-press may peel

Strong rubbing or everyday use may cause the foil-press to peel off.

Avoid storing in hot and humid places

Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.

Avoid using with Clear Cover

This cover uses thicker materials than usual, so it may not fit. Forcing it into a Clear Cover may damage the product.
