This is a marble colored pencil from Koh-I-Noor, a venerable Czech stationery maker. The metallic body has a comfortable heft and holds a 5.6 mm marbled lead. Drawing a line becomes delightful as the pencil releases three colors together or one sporadic color at a time. Even though the lead is made of three colors, you will discover more shades as red and blue blend together to make purple, and yellow and blue blend to make green, delivering multi-colored richness on paper.



The body is shaped in a round-cornered octagon, and the marble design on its surface is unique to each pencil. Some have more red, some more yellow, and each unique pencil is yours alone.



To extend the lead, hold down the knock and pinch the lead to adjust to your preferred length. To retract the lead, hold down the knock and gently push the lead back in.



Twist off the knock to reveal a small sharpener for rounded lead tips. Take the lead out from the holder before sharpening it.
