In the smash-hit manga One Piece, Straw Hat Luffy goes on an adventure with his friends in search of “the One Piece,” a legendary treasure. ONE PIECE magazine dives into the charms of the hit manga series in order to help fans further enjoy the world of One Piece. We have a special collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine.

Like the Sun is a Weeks book with a cover design based on the pirate ship Thousand Sunny, which transports the Straw Hat Pirates on their adventures.

The navy background is reminiscent of the sea at night, or the bottom of the sea. The arrangement of characters met along the way is an original composition created for this techo cover design.

The cover material is the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties, and the light, hardcover book has some give to it so it still bends.

The Mini Merry II, Surume, Shark Submerge III, small sparkling gold-colored stars, and bubbles are just some of the things embroidered in detail using colorful threads.

And, of course, the Thousand Sunny, which is ornately embroidered down to the smallest details.

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

We recommend using this Weeks book alongside the Hobonichi Pencil Board for Weeks (Memories - Thriller Bark).

When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

From the 2024 April-start version for the Weeks, the book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River S paper. The paper has supported the Hobonichi Techo for over 20 years with its special characteristics, but it’ll be undergoing an overhaul starting with the 2024 edition techos. The paper is more resistant to bleed through, lighter despite being the same thickness, and has a smoother surface by adjusting the fibers of the paper.

The Weeks book has space for writing in plans or journal entries, and it also has 69 pages of grid paper memo pages in the back (73 pages in the English edition Weeks and the April-start version). The back of the book contains informational pages, including An Interview with Myself and Seasonal Sweets to Make at Home.

The Hobonichi Techo 2024 Weeks book comes in either Japanese or English. If you love this cover, then you can pick out which language you’d like in that book.

Spend your days with Thousand Sunny

We’ve recreated the world of One Piece in the woven necktie material for the Weeks Bow & Tie series.

The theme is the Thousand Sunny making its way through the night sea and the deep sea. In the series, the Sunny is named after a concept by Iceburg: “a ship as bright as the sun that will cheerfully sail through a thousand seas.” In the same way, we hope this techo sees everyone through to bright, fun times.

The masts of Sunny and Surume’s expression are part of the many details meticulously recreated in this cute pattern. The company that always makes our Bow & Tie series have incredible skill when creating these woven patterns.

The chic navy blue background color gives this book a calm look that makes it suitable for any situation, even at work.

When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.
