This is the 2024 edition of the Hobonichi Techo Official Guidebook that introduces you to the new lineup as well as lots of fun usage examples.

This year’s theme for the guidebook is “I can do it with the Hobonichi Techo!” We all have our own different ways of using the Hobonichi Techo, but we all probably have a vision we want to achieve in mind. From daily recordkeeping, using it for work, studying, cooking, parenting, managing finances and working towards a goal, you will be able to see lots of can-do’s of users making use of the Hobonichi Techo.



Tanka poet Tawara Machi uses her techo as a place to write down fragments of everyday moments. Voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi discovered the joy of the little things in everyday life.



Keiya Mizuno, author of The Elephant that Makes Dreams Come True, teaches us how to use the techo to get closer to fulfilling our dreams. Kimiko Hagihara, a handwriting instructor, gives us a lesson on beautiful handwriting that makes it enjoyable to write in our techos. This guidebook is packed with information that makes using the Hobonichi Techo even more fun!

The bear has a faraway expression on its face, but as it hugs the Hobonichi Techo, it might be coming to feel like 2024 is a year of potential. The book turned out really cute, and is peppered with images of the bear and various items made of felt.
