ONE PIECE magazineDON!HON / A6 Size / Daily / JPN edition / Jan start / Mon start

  • 2025 New
  • ON SALE OCT 1

This special edition page-per-day A6 size Hobonichi Techo Original book was created in collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine, which dives into the charms of the hit manga series to help fans further enjoy the world of One Piece. This edition features illustrations and quotes from the series while retaining all the features that make the standard Hobonichi Techo so easy to use. You can create your own logbook as you fill your techo with your own plans, notes, and thoughts.

DON! is a hardcover type book with a cover design attached to the book. The cover material is the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties, and the light, hardcover book has some give to it so it still bends. It’s made of cheerful bright red fabric scattered with the significant items of the world of One Piece, including main character Luffy’s straw hat, the Den Den Mushi telepathic snail, and the Log Pose that shows directions.

The shimmering Berry mark and the Vivre Cards with Silvers Rayleigh’s name are rendered in detail through the colorful tie threads.

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

You will also find Pandaman here and there!

The HON has two attached bookmarks: one navy and one beige. The book spine is foil-pressed in white with the year 2025 and the HON logo.

The book’s lay-flat binding and thin and light Tomoe River graph paper with 3.7 mm squares make the book easy to read and write in. The book includes a yearly calendar, yearly index, Monday-start monthly calendars, daily pages, blank memo pages and more.

Each daily page includes a phrase from the One Piece comics volume 1-107, carefully selected by the ONE PIECE magazine editorial team from the readers’ survey. The encouraging, moving, and funny phrases were collected from the readers through a survey and became the 365 daily words. The quotes also include which volume and chapter they come from.

Above each quote is a “B” mark, for “birthday.” This shows which characters (through volume 107) have a birthday on that date. On each of the birthdays of the ten Straw Hat Crew, there is a small illustration of their face next to the date.

We’ve included an extra page at the beginning of each month for making to-do lists and writing other notes to help in planning ahead. It also features a large illustration of an impressive scene that fits the seasonality and the imagery of the month.

There are bonus pages in the back of the book that were created under the direction of the ONE PIECE magazine editing department.

- One Piece Chronology

Chronological table of events in the One Piece world as described in the comics up to volume 107, chapter 1088

- Phrases from One Piece to use when it counts

Lines from the readers-selected “favorite phrases” that you could use in daily life or conversations

- Ten great scenes chosen by readers to read over and over again

A page where you can find out the readers’ favorite scenes

- WANTED

Wanted posters where you can fill in the face and reward amount.

Other additional pages standard to the Hobonichi Techo, such as the Time Table, Favorites, My 100, Solar Terms, Emergency Preparedness, Gifts, Age Table, Addresses, and Personal Notes are also included, but with One Piece themes.

*The One Piece Techo Book is only available with a January-start date and Monday-start week.

Also available is the Original Book - One Piece Edition that can be used with a techo cover (the contents excluding the front cover design are exactly the same).

We’ve also made a series of ONE PIECE magazine x Hobonichi Techo stationery items that are fun to use with your techo.

Items from the One Piece world gathered in one!

We are grateful that this edition marks the third year of our collaboration with the ONE PIECE magazine. The Going Merry traveling the Grand Line was the theme for the first year, and for the second year, the theme was the Thousand Sunny making its way across the sea like the sun. For both designs, the world of One Piece was expressed through the necktie weaves of Bow & Tie, a standard pattern of the Hobonichi Weeks books.

For the third year of Bow & Tie, we tried a different approach and gathered the adventure-related items that the One Piece characters would use.

Den Den Mushi, the Log Pose, the Belly mark, the Vivre Cards, and not to forget Luffy’s iconic straw hat and meat. Adding the One Piece essential “DON!” and Pandaman to the collection made it a design that represents the style of One Piece.

We hope you enjoy the carefully rendered details, such as the sparkle of the Berry mark and Silvers Rayleigh’s signature on the Vivre Card.

We considered the background color over and over and finally decided on a vibrant and robust red, just like Luffy. Although it is a bright color, the tie fabric will blend easily with your business outfit, so even adults can carry it in a smart style.

Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

Test fountain pens before regular use

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

Pattern alignment varies by product

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

Use caution around sharp objects

The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.

Characteristics of materials and product design may result in white spots on the edges and corners of the front and back.

Characteristics of materials and product design may result in white spots on the edges and corners of the front and back. The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.

Cannot be used with a Hobonichi Techo Cover or Cover on Cover. Please use the Clear Cover for HON.

The cover of the HON book is thicker and firmer than that of the Hobonichi Techo book. It cannot be used with a Techo cover designed for the standard Hobonichi Techo book. The Cover on Cover designed for standard Hobonichi Techo covers also will not fit the HON. Please use the Clear Cover for HON. Please do not use excessive force when applying the cover as this may cause damage.

About the included pencil board

The pen hook on the pencil board can hold a pen by its clip.
