Liberty FabricsPaysanne BlossomWeeks Hardcover Book / Weekly Horizontal / ENG or JPN edition / Jan start / Mon start

  • 2025 New

This Weeks book is made with a beautiful printed textile from the venerable British fabric brand Liberty Fabrics.

Paysanne Blossom is a fruity botanical design with juicy strawberries studded amongst flowers drawn in delicate lines. The pink color of the pretty strawberries and the flowers in white and blue in different shapes and sizes give a sweet and refreshing impression.

This Weeks book is made with Liberty Fabric’s own “Tana Lawn” material, a meticulously processed cotton fabric with a soft, silken feel that offers prints in vibrant colors.

Foil-pressed in silver is the year 2025 on the front cover and spine, and the name Hobonichi on the back.

The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. This paper that underwent an overhaul with the 2024 edition techo is more resistant to bleed through, lighter despite being the same thickness, and has a smoother surface by adjusting the fibers of the paper.

The Weeks book has space for writing in plans or journal entries, and it also has 69 pages of grid paper memo pages in the back (73 pages in the English edition). The back of the book contains bonus pages, including Sample Symbols and Icons and Oodles of Noodles.

The Hobonichi Techo 2025 Weeks book comes in either English or Japanese. If you love this cover, then you can pick out which language you’d like in that book.

*The English edition book only comes as the January-start version.

If you’d like storage space or a way to change up the look of your Weeks book, you can customize your book by pairing it with a Weeks cover.

About Liberty Fabrics

Liberty Fabrics is a fabric brand from England. Founded in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty (1843-1917), who discovered the beauty of Japanese art during a World’s Fair in London in the 19th century.

The company originated as a small import shop with oriental ornaments and fabrics. The delicate silk and intricate hand-dyed art were praised by followers of the Aesthetic Movement, and in the 1880s, Liberty began printing high-quality cotton textiles as a way to recreate sturdy versions of the delicate Eastern silks.

In the 1920s, Liberty developed their original “Tana Lawn” cotton material, which looks and feels like silk and has a lightweight structure that allows it to drape beautifully. Liberty has created intricate prints bursting with color and complex designs ever since.

Savor the charm of the mainstream design

Michelle is a pattern from the standard collection, the Eternal Collection, with an indeed Liberty Fabrics style pattern. We selected this textile so that our users could feel the essence of Liberty Fabrics.

The inner covers of the Original and Cousin covers are a soothing blue-gray color. The bookmark is white to look beautiful with this cover.

The inner cover of the Weeks cover is pale yellow, different from the Original and Cousin covers. The gorgeousness will give you a bright feeling whenever you open the techo.

Paysanne Blossom, selected for the Weeks and HON covers, is a cute pattern of small flowers with strawberries casually sprinkled among them.

The year 2025 and HOBONICHI is foil-pressed in silver to avoid making it too cute. The result is a cover that is slightly retro and classical.

Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

Test fountain pens before regular use

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

Pattern alignment varies by product

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

Use caution around sharp objects

The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.

Imprinted year numbers may peel

The numbers of the year are stamped onto the cover in metallic or other colored leaf, so strong rubbing or everyday use may cause the numbers to peel off.

Avoid storing in hot and humid places

Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
