Kita-boshi PencilLead Holder & Lead Pointer Set

This lead holder has the intuitive mechanism of a mechanical pencil, while the thick lead delivers a satisfying writing experience. The lead holder has a natural wooden body of American Incense Cedar. The barrel diameter is 1 mm larger than a regular pencil to accommodate for adult hands.

The high-quality, Japan-made lead is crafted by uniformly mixing pure lead and clay, to achieve ultimate resilience to breaking and smoothness. The lead diameter is 2 mm.

The accompanying lead pointer features a uniquely shaped leaf spring instead of a blade. You can sharpen the lead by twisting the lead from left to right in the structure.

This product was developed by Kita-boshi Pencil, a maker founded in 1951. If you are someone who longs for that distinct feeling of scribbling away with a pencil, this one is for you.
