Brass Button (Reflect / Search & Collect)

These European antique brass buttons have been specially reprinted by antique button and jewelry specialty shop CO-. These buttons are featured on the Reflect techo cover (currently sold out) and the Search & Collect 5-Year Techo cover.

Reflect is a reprint of an antique button born in France towards the end of the 19th century. It shows a cat peering into a mirror. The button is detailed, down to the floorboards, the pattern of the wallpaper and the coat of the cat.

The Search & Collect is an antique button originally made in England. Etched into the button is an old symbol of good luck, the honey bee, and a dainty flower.

The button starts out bright and shiny, and gradually darkens and dulls over time in a unique way for that classic brass look you can enjoy (the way in which the buttons darken will differ from piece to piece).

You can sew these buttons onto an outfit you currently own or remake it as a brooch or other accessory item.
