MOTHERHobonichi Whiteboard Calendar 2025 (MOTHER)

  • 2025 New

The Hobonichi Whiteboard Calendar has been a hit since it debuted in 2006. The whiteboard material provides plenty of space to write in or erase entries as many times as you want. Having an erasable calendar makes it comfortable to jot down plans, even if only tentative, knowing you can easily edit it later if anything changes. It’s also great for including notes and leaving messages for the family. The handy whiteboard marker includes an eraser on its cap for easy use.

Digital calendars on your smartphone and computer are convenient of course, but have the pitfall of being out of sight, out of mind. Having a physical calendar hanging up in your line of sight makes it easier to remember to review your plans each day. It comes in two sizes: Full Size and Desktop Size.

The large Full Size wall calendar has a sleek design that will blend nicely with your interior decor.

The Desktop Size is a calendar that sits atop your desk. The double-sided pages are made with whiteboard paper, with one side a calendar in which you can enjoy images from the game, the opposite side a white calendar with plenty of room to write. In other words, you get one calendar with two designs.

Both calendars are based on the photos taken by the Camera Man who appears in MOTHER2 (EarthBound in North America). Onett, Twoson, Winters, Threed… Remind yourself with memories of the trips you made with your friends and the excitement of your adventure and spend a year that will turn into a wonderful year with this calendar.

Please Read Before You Buy

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

As with standard whiteboards, surface may become dirty over time.

After continuously erasing and rewriting entries in the calendar, the whiteboard surface may darken over time. Use a wet wipe, a dampened tissue, or a cloth to clean the surface.

Writing may smudge or erase

Because this calendar is designed to be used with dry erase markers, accidentally rubbing your hand on an entry can smudge or wipe away the writing. Previous writing may also blur if left to remain on a month’s page while moving on to future months.
We recommend using a standard oil-based marker when writing important and certain dates you don’t want to erase, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Not for use with water-based ink

Using markers with water-based ink, such as wet erase markers, will cause the ink to take a very long time to dry. Once the ink dries, it will be difficult to erase. Avoid using these types of markers.

Do not store in high temperatures

The whiteboard paper in this calendar is weak to heat. Avoid storing it in bathrooms or other rooms prone to becoming warm.
We have also confirmed that the marker pen can be affected by high temperature and humidity, and in rare cases, the ink may become permanent if left in such conditions for several days after writing. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can use the product with this in mind.

Storing the included whiteboard marker

Do not store the marker straight up or down, as it causes the ink to collect and stop coming out. We recommend storing the marker horizontally flat. In addition, ink may be difficult to dispense at first depending on the positioning of the products in the packaged set. If ink starts out difficult to dispense, leave the marker down flat in a horizontal position for a while before trying again.

About the magnet included with whiteboard marker

If the bottom of the pen starts to drop downward after placing the pen horizontally against the magnet, tightly squeeze the magnet on the pen cap with your finger. These adhesive magnet strips have been applied to the pen caps by hand, so they may not be exactly even. Squeezing the magnet back against the pen cap helps flatten the magnet strip and strengthen the magnetic pull.

About the metal bar included with calendar

The adhesive metal bar included with the Full Size and Medium Size calendars can be applied wherever you like such as atop the calendar. The metal bar is intended to provide a spot for you to store your dry erase marker by the magnet on the pen cap. You can also use your own magnet to store receipts and notes on this spot.

*Items stored here by a magnet have the possibility of getting lost, so we do not recommend storing especially important receipts or tickets.
*Metal bar is made of tin. Tightly squeezing the bar and its edges or rubbing the edges against your hands may result in injury. Please handle with care.
Keep out of reach of children.
