This A6 notepad has 155 pages. The paper inside is blank except for a lightly printed illustration, and the pages are glued in instead of sewn, making them very easy to rip out for shopping lists or passing along messages.
On the cover is “Ueda-san’s summer of hugs,” drawn by Keiko Shibata, a picture book artist and illustrator. This piece is from a series of works drawn for a solo exhibition held in 2017, depicting “Ueda-san” hugging a soft-serve ice cream.
The oil-pastel-drawn artwork gives a heartwarming impression. You will always be able to enjoy the unique facial expressions of the characters and the background in vivid colors.
On the inside is also “Ueda-san” hugging soft-serve ice cream, printed in pale blue-green.
Because this notebook is the same size as the A6 Hobonichi Techo books, it fits perfectly into A6 size techo covers.
