This small storage bag was created in collaboration with Taku Satoh, the design director of the Hobonichi Techo. The bag was born from Satoh’s idea to have something that can protect the A6 size Hobonichi Techo when carried around inside another bag. Similar to the TS Hobonichi Techo cover series, this bag also contains Satoh’s initials.
The TS Techo Bag can snugly fit an A6 size Hobonichi Techo book, even if it’s in a standard, Zippers, or trifold techo cover. The bag protects your techo from damage if jostling around your backpack or handbag.
The bag is made with sturdy off-white canvas that matches well with any cover, yet stands out when sitting on a desk. The bag contains a flap made of the same material so you can cover your planner for protection or tuck in the flap for easy access. The bag interior is a subdued shade of gray-beige.
The bag is accented with a small gray-beige leather handle on one side that makes it easy to pull out from a backpack or handbag. It also has an outer front pocket for cards or other often-used items, and a postcard-size outer back pocket for storing notes and small notebooks.
While the bag design is incredibly simple, there’s something charming about it that makes you always want to keep it by your side. It’s a great companion for storing your precious Hobonichi Techo.
