In the smash-hit manga One Piece, Straw Hat Luffy goes on an adventure with his friends in search of “the One Piece,” a legendary treasure. ONE PIECE magazine dives into the charms of the hit manga series in order to help fans further enjoy the world of One Piece. We have a special collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine.
This cover is based on the Going Merry’s Logbook from the series, as a means of providing users with a logbook of their own to map out the adventures of both their daily and long-term lives and bring along as a companion to their daily adventures for recording what happens.
Now you can write your own personal logbook under the protection of the Going Merry.
The trifold cover uses genuine leather that’s black and smooth to the touch. The cover has a chic design that matches well in any setting. The cover exterior is solid black and accented with a gold-colored button shaped like the face on the Going Merry ship.
The cover interior contains a cloth section that’s printed with a nautical chart to give the cover the true feel of a logbook. There’s a pen hook on the right-hand side to store a pen.
The left-hand side contains several card pockets. The phrase “Vivre Card” is foil-pressed on the bottom left of the pockets because you can store items here that are as important as a Vivre Card. The bookmarks have red and off-white ribbons to match the colors of the Going Merry ship flag.
There’s a pocket on the right-hand side that’s foil-pressed with the phrase “Going Merry
Logbook”.
When you purchase this cover, you’ll receive it inside a special cotton drawstring bag modeled after the Going Merry ship flag. You can store not only your techo in here, but various other items such as stationery, accessories, or anything else you please.
We recommend pairing this cover with the Hobonichi Pencil Board for A5 Size (Memories - Fish-Man Island), which offers a comfortable writing surface under your current page.
We’ve also made a series of ONE PIECE magazine x Hobonichi Techo stationery items that are fun to use with your techo. The One Piece themed techos and stationery are all exclusively part of this collaborative collection.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.
Each item is individually assembled and sewn by hand by a factory worker. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover, such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.
Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.
This product uses leather that retains a great deal of unique characteristics. The leather will appear different depending on which area from which it was cut, so your product will not look exactly the same as that pictured on the product page.
Dyed leather products tend to leave stains. Please be careful not to allow the leather to adhere or rub against other objects such as clothing or other belongings, especially if the bag is wet from water or sweat from your hands.
Immediately dab your product with a dry cloth if it gets wet. Avoid drying it with high temperatures, and place it in a well-ventilated place in the shade.
The cover does not shut tightly while it is new, but it will wear in over time.
The pen hook is designed to hold a pen by its clip.
The PVC plastic of the Cover on Cover contains plasticizer additives which may cause a reaction in the leather dye and affect the color and quality of the leather cover. Please refrain from using the Cover on Cover with this product.
Please avoid storing your product in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower quality and color stains.
The leather used for this cover has a matte finish, so there may be marks or streaks of sheen made by slight frixion or scrapes during the production process. Over time, these marks will blend in with the oil of your hands as you hold the cover in your hands and will gain texture, so we ask for your understanding on this characteristic.
If you’ve used any of these products, we welcome your notes on what you like about them or what led you to buy them so we can share it with customers who are currently considering these products. We’d also love to welcome comments from customers who purchased their techo outside the Hobonichi Store or received their book as a gift.
