Bijutsukai and Shin-Bijutsukai are collections of craft designs published in the Meiji era (1868–1912), both books containing beautiful designs by various designers and Japanese painters. This collection of multicolored woodblock print designs was published by Unsodo, a Kyoto-based art publishing company and the only publisher of hand-printed woodblock books in Japan.
Ten of the designs from Bijutsukai have been selected to create Unsodo original Chiyogami decorative paper. OR-5 and OR-6 contain ten different designs, each completely different from the other.
You can use them as Origami paper to make chopstick bags or rests or as cards by writing a message on the back.
Savor the modern beauty in them.
