This A6 notepad has 155 pages. The paper inside is blank except for a lightly printed illustration, and the pages are glued in instead of sewn, making them very easy to rip out for shopping lists or passing along messages.
The cover design of this notepad is an illustration by Hiroko Kubota, called “Aurora Duty,” which is featured this year on our very first English edition Hobonichi Techo Weeks. This English-only Weeks design is also available here as a Hobonichi Paper(s) notepad.
The cover artwork depicts what appears to be a quiet night in a distant northern country. You can see a forest off in the far distance underneath the vast skies, and a polar bear is waving an enormous flag while on Aurora Duty. The back of the cover shows one more bear pulling along a warm drink on a sled to provide refreshments. The interior pages are printed with green ink with an illustration of the bears chatting.
Your day will brighten every time you open this notepad and write in it.
Because this notebook is the same size as the A6 Hobonichi Techo books, it fits perfectly into A6 size techo covers.
Born 1971. Illustrator. Uses acrylic gouache etc. to draw landscapes, people, and animals.
