The Hobonichi Techo “HON” book first appeared in the 2023 edition. In the 2024 edition, we also have an A5 size, twice as large as the existing A6 size, and an English version. We have more designs for the covers, too. With the hope that you will use our new “HON” lineup with even greater pleasure, we would like to introduce some stationery, pouches, and bags that make the HON even more convenient and flexible when used together.
The Hobonichi Techo HON has a hardcover design already attached to the book. The book features a page per day, which is the same as the Original (A6 size) and Cousin (A5 size) books. It looks like a hardcover book and is easy to carry around. It comes in 2 sizes; A6 and A5. We now have more cover designs that you can enjoy choosing from!

Various items in the lineup
HON is a very simple techo book; you can create your own unique style by combining different stationery with it. We picked up some items we thought would be useful with HON.
It would feel good if you could keep the book as clean as possible throughout the year. We created a HON-specific type of clear cover that protects your techo from scratches and stains.
This is how it looks used
with the HON
*The cover comes in A6 size and A5 size.
*There may be books which do not go well with the Clear Cover. Please refer to the “Please Read Before You Buy” section on each product page.
Since HON does not have a pen holder, it requires a little creativity to carry a pen with it. (The pencil board that comes with the HON has an attached pen holder.) You can carry a pen with your techo smartly if you use a band on the techo to keep it closed or a clip that can be attached to the cover and hook a pen to it.
Choice of color and
string length to match
the HON’s design and size
We also have stationery to keep your favorite stickers, clippings, store cards, etc. You can neatly store small items in your HON using an adhesive clear envelope that you can stick anywhere in your techo or a see-through folder that is the perfect size for your techo.
Create a pocket wherever you like
The set of different designs
can be used for different purposes
HON is a smart and portable item; even its markers should be cute and subtle. You can customize your techo to make it even more convenient by using clip-type film sticky notes that can be clipped to the cover and beautifully colored transparent index tabs that make it easier to open the page you are looking for.

Combine two colors
to make it your own
We also have pouches and bags that come in handy for short outings to carry stationery and personal items you want to use with the HON.
This is a leather pouch made to match the HON book. With no gussets and a sleek shape, it can be carried as smartly as a clutch bag. The pouch is beautiful down to the smallest detail, such as the gently curved corners and the deep pocket to hold the HON and some pens.
A small bag we created with graphic designer Taku Satoh. Made of durable off-white canvas material, you can use it inside another bag to protect your techo from any damage and provide easy access at the same time. The front pocket can hold pens, stationery, and so on.
The A6 size HON
fits in perfectly!
*It can only hold the A6 size book.
(The A5 size cannot be stored inside.)
“Stappo,” a pouch for storing goods on your desk, would also be a great match. The HON fits perfectly, and there are enough pockets to keep just about anything you use with your techo, including pens, memo pads, washi tapes, and more. “Stappo” also has a handle that makes it easy to carry around.
The A6 size book
can be stored vertically
Remove the partition,
and the A5 size can also fit in!!
There is also a compact tote bag recommended to carry the HON outside. The small tote bag made of “LINTON” tweed fabric has a cute pop design with elegantly woven threads in a variety of colors. It can store more than you think, even a wallet or a small water bottle, along with the HON.
