Although Hobonichi primarily operates online, Tobichi is a special place for us to sell products and host shows and events. Here in our buildings we can search for the things that fascinate us, explore them, and open galleries and events about them. In Tobichi we can bring creators together with people who come to experience and be a part of what they have to offer. Stop by anytime and you’re sure to find something exciting waiting there for you.
Tobichi Tokyo has been located in Minami-Aoyama since 2014, but will move accordingly with the relocation of the main office to the “Hobonichi Kanda Building.” We will post details when available.
How to get to Tobichi Kyoto
Tobichi Kyoto is a 3 minute walk from the Shijo Kawaramachi intersection. From this intersection, with Kyoto Marui to your left and Takashimaya to your right, proceed down the main street.
Have Kyoto Marui to the left and Takashimaya on the right, and go straight down this road.
Cross a small crosswalk, walk past the bus stop, and you’ll reach the destination in 50 meters.
The short crosswalk has two white stripes.
The Kotobuki Building has a distinctly nostalgic look at the entrance.
The streetlight is decorated with a picture of a Pokemon.
Please proceed to the 5th floor. The elevator is in the back of the building.
For customers arriving via public transportation: We recommend arriving by one of the following stations:-Hankyu Railway - Kawaramachi Station-Keihan Railway - Gion-Shijo Station-Kyoto City Bus - Kawaramachi Matsubara
