trois temps is a popular brand of woven shawls and handbags individually crafted by hand using a loom. Designer Mitsuhiko Fujino's original creations are influenced by popular hand-woven textiles from all over the world. He starts with a grid-paper design and weaves threads throughout the pattern for a distinct look. The results retain a special warmth that can only come from hand-crafted goods, with an orthodox style that never gets old.

This techo cover features a photograph of the popular trois temps textile, with the Carreaux design's classic red, white, and navy color scheme. The patterns look simple at first glance, but take a closer look and you'll see the charm behind the slight differences between each pattern. The print is printed on a rough fabric to maintain the hand-woven feel of the original textile.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.

All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances

Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but as these products are hand-made, covers are not made as exact copies.

Silk printed image may peel off over time

The logo inside the cover is silk-printed onto the cover's material. This delicate print may peel or come off with daily use. If using a Cover on Cover, the silk print may stick to the plastic and eventually come off with it from the constant contact.

Design may contain smudges or uneven coloring

During the print process, patterns may contain spots where the color has become smudged or uneven.

Avoid exposing Cover on Cover to cold temperatures

The PVC plastic of the Cover on Cover may lose elasticity and become difficult to put on when left in cold temperatures. If this happens, we recommend letting the product sit in a warm area before applying to your cover. Please be careful when handling your Cover on Cover in cold temperatures, as it becomes more susceptible to damages if dropped or handled roughly.

Black or white dots on the cover exterior

On rare occasions, there may be small black or white dots visible on the print. This is an unavoidable aspect of the manufacturing process.

Outer pocket pattern may not align perfectly

The outer pocket is designed to align with the pattern beneath it, but pattern alignments may be imperfect due to the manual production process.

Color may vary slightly between cover and pockets

The material for the pockets is printed or dyed separately and later sewn onto the cover. While colors are designed to be consistent across the entire cover, the shade of the pockets may vary slightly from the rest of the cover.

Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder

Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.

Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder

The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48") diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53") in diameter.
