Survey Results Announcement Drawer Pouch Storage and Usage Answers Drawer Pouch Container

Drawer Pouch Container is a box-shaped pouch with a handle. We’re seeing it used to store sewing supplies, cosmetics, fountain-pen inks, snacks, and other small, bulky items. It’s roughly 7 cm deep (about 2.7 inches), just tall enough for some users to store their nail polish collection.

The double-zippered lid opens to reveal everything inside at once for easy access. Pouchers mentioned keeping their hobby or work tools inside, keeping them close at hand while still being able to move them all together.

This year’s survey showed that the Drawer Pouch Container is most commonly used to store gadget-related items, hobby tools, and personal care items, but we were a little surprised to see reusable shopping bags take the top spot. Perhaps the Container’s appeal comes from how easy it is to store bulkier three-dimensional items inside; it’s especially suited for items like stamps and ink-pads.

I keep everything I need for work in the pouch. I used to keep this stuff in my locker, and walk over to get it when I needed it, but being able to keep everything nearby is really handy. I love animals, so I chose the Baby Penguins design.

My calligraphy set fits perfectly into this container. It holds my ink, tins of nibs, mini cards, and a little pitcher for holding water.

I don’t have any storage at my work desk, so I use this instead. Even though the Container is a square, because it’s made of cloth it has just enough give to it that it doesn’t feel too restricted, which is nice.

I usually keep my manicure set in the Container. When I travel, I put in my makeup, phone charger, perfume, and any other things I need when going out, and I load the Container in my car alongside everything else.

I keep my nail polish in it at home. The size is perfect! I can keep it all in one place, and it’s easy to pull out one at a time, so it’s super convenient.

I work from home, so my living-room table is my workplace. I don’t have a special desk set up, so I have to set up my workspace at the start of the day and then clean up when I’m done. Once I got a Container and put all the things I need into it, I was freed from that stress! If I put my Drawer Pouch Pocket (which I use as a wallet), cloth mask, and smartphone together in the main compartment, it’s easy for me to grab and go when I’m heading out. I keep a postcard I received from my daughter at the bottom of the pouch, and I feel happy whenever I see it peeking out at me.

My hobby is sashiko embroidery. I make a little progress each day, which means I’m always opening and closing my pouch at home. I like that I can fit my tailor’s chalk pens and seam ripper in the mesh top pocket.

I use it to store my everyday makeup. I keep the stuff I use daily in the main compartment, so it’s easy to get to. Then items like my tweezers and scissors and any refills go in the zippered top pocket.

This is the snack pouch I keep at my desk at work. I keep my favorite snacks in it, like rice crackers, candy, and chocolates, so I’m always stocked when a craving hits. I also keep a bottle of hand sanitizer and some wet wipes inside. Even with this much stored in the pouch, if I tuck in the snacks I can actually close the zipper just fine. As long as I keep the lid shut, I can’t see the snacks, so I feel like I stand a chance against resisting temptation! Plus, if I bring this to a work meeting, I can share with everyone. Everyone gets super excited!

From the Drawer
Pouch Team

We got lots of feedback from happy customers: “It was so cute I couldn’t help but buy one.” “I only decided how to use it after I got one.” “This is really exciting!” It feels good to see that Drawer Pouchers are appreciating the high-quality, apparel-grade cloth we make these with. A few people said they used the Container as desktop storage at work; we tried to choose a size that wouldn’t get in the way on a desk, so we were glad to see that, too. Pouchers also talked about how well it stored their hobby tools, which is nice because you can carry around whatever you need without having it stuck in one place.
