The special compact design allows you to choose your color with a simple twist of the pencil nib. Lead comes in six colors (red, blue, green, brown, orange, and yellow) and two colors specially designed to disappear when copied (Diazo Non Copy = pink that doesn't show up on blueprints; PPC Non Copy = blue that doesn't show up on printer paper).
After hearing about its wonderful compatibility with the Hobonichi Techo from Tetsuo Takashima, close friend of Hobonichi and artist of Butafine, the Hobonichi team decided to add the pen to the Hobonichi Store accessories lineup.
