This leather-trimmed trifold cover is made of a glossy twill material. The name of this cover comes from "Safari Style," the fashion style European nobles wore on safari in Africa back in the first half of the twentieth century. The thin, diagonal weave of the olive green twill is accented and reinforced by brown leather, which is also featured on the interior’s smile pocket.
The brown cow leather borders serve a dual purpose of reinforcing the cover and giving it a handsome accent.
This cover is designed to be held sideways like a clutch bag, and features a pocket layout unlike other covers in the lineup. - All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- White spots around stitching
The design is printed over white material, so the sewing process may expose white areas around the stitches.
- Color may vary slightly between cover and pockets
The material for each part of the cover is printed or dyed separately. While colors are designed to be consistent across the entire cover, the shade may vary slightly.
- Interior of cover may be loose
The interior of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Pen holders are rigid at first
The pen holders are rigid at first, making it difficult to insert pens. You can speed up the breaking-in process by rolling the pen holders in your hand.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.
- Adhesive of edges weakens over time
The leather lining the edges of the cover had been applied to the body with glue to hold it in place while being sewn on. This preparatory layer of glue is expected to weaken over time, but the stitching will keep it in place.
- Color may vary slightly based on viewing screen
The color of the product may be slightly different in actuality than compared to how it appeared on a computer or smartphone screen.
