Antipast is a popular fashion sock brand that is beloved by many women for its detailed, beautiful designs and comfortable material. This cover is made with the same material used in Antipast socks, showcasing their incredible skill in embroidering such intricate designs on soft material. In this Flower Rug design, a gorgeous array of colorful flowers dotting across the cover pops out from the black background.
One of the things that makes the Antipast sock material so great is the way the design includes the smallest details, down to the flower petals and leaves.
The zipper pull is accented with a dove carrying a heart.
The cover interior has a sophisticated look with its camel brown pockets coupled with the black and camel bookmarks with round charms.
The cover material was constructed the same way Antipast makes socks. You can feel the careful construction of the knitting as you run your fingers over the designs protruding from the fabric.
About Antipast
A textile brand created by designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, two pioneers in the fine-gauge ladies’ socks industry with their ability to knit the finest details into the sock material. Their name comes from the Italian word “antipasto” to expresstheir goal of creating the finest “appetizers” to complement the wearer’s “main dish” clothing. In addition to original socks, the company also designs clothing.

Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- Interior of cover may be loose
The interior of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Pen holders are rigid at first
The pen holders are rigid at first, making it difficult to insert pens. You can speed up the breaking-in process by rolling the pen holders in your hand.
- Use caution around sharp objects
The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.
- Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.
