This cover, with the functionality of a shoulder bag, was created in collaboration with Porter. It features a beautifully reflective outer nylon bag and a cover for Hobonichi Techo. The fabric is resilient to tear due to its unique lattice weaving, and is water-repellent owing to urethane coating of the surface. The cover is attractively glossy and is light enough for you to bring along anywhere. The cotton inserted in the structure gives it a cushiony feel.
Fresh sky blue pops as you open the front flap pocket. The spacious pocket holds a Techo encased in a matching cover. The Techo cover features two strands of bookmarks.
The outer pocket can serve as a pen holder or comfortably fit a smartphone.
The inner cloth of the Techo cover is also sky blue. To use the Techo, take it out of the bag.
The cover’s double zipper allows it to be zipped from either end. Inside the cover, you’ll find four card pockets and a zip-up mesh pocket.
The shoulder strap can be adjusted from 69cm to 130cm, and is easy to attach or remove.
About Porter
Established in 1962, Porter is the first original brand of bag-maker Yoshida Kaban. The company’s over 80 years of history and tradition of meticulous attention to detail is still active to this day. The brand is named after the hotel porters, whose daily attention to their guests’ bags gives them a particular insight into what makes a good bag.

Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- Avoid storing in hot and humid places
Please avoid storing your cover in hot, humid places or placing it atop other objects for long periods of time as this may result in lower product quality and color stains. Please use caution when storing.
- Interior of cover may be loose
The interior of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Avoid catching velcro onto clothing
Be careful when handling the velcro, as it may cling to certain clothes and cause damage when pulled off.
- Material may weaken over time
The material coating, tape, plastic, and other parts of this cover may weaken as the product ages over time.
- Overstuffing the cover may result in tearing or damage
This cover is designed to store tools, documents, and other stationery together with the planner book. Attempts to close the cover when it contains too many items may damage the material. Please avoid storing more than the cover can hold.
- Pen holders are rigid at first
The pen holders are rigid at first, making it difficult to insert pens. You can speed up the breaking-in process by rolling the pen holders in your hand.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.
- Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
