RoseA6 Size (fits Planner and Original)
Cacuma is a fashion brand created in collaboration with art director/designer Yoshie Watanabe and Hobonichi. This Cacuma-brand cover features red embroidery on coarse canvas material. The pattern seems abstract at first glance, but open the cover and view it in full to see the image of a rose embroidered in a way that looks like a single-stroke drawing.
The rose is embroidered with a chain-stitch that raises the threads into a series of soft loops to give the design a warm feel.
The pen holder and cover interior are made with a faux leather that matches the color of the red embroidery. The color is the perfect contrast with the beige exterior.
The bookmarks are made with yellow and blue ribbons, with just a bit of red at the ends for a nice effect.
The cover reflects Watanabe’s unique style in the pairing of casual canvas material with intricate embroidery.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.
- All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- Color may vary slightly between cover and pockets
The material for each part of the cover is printed or dyed separately. While colors are designed to be consistent across the entire cover, the shade may vary slightly.
- Interior of cover may be loose
The interior of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Pen holders are rigid at first
The pen holders are rigid at first, making it difficult to insert pens. You can speed up the breaking-in process by rolling the pen holders in your hand.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.
- Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
- Avoid exposing Cover on Cover to cold temperatures
The PVC plastic of the Cover on Cover may lose elasticity and become difficult to put on when left in cold temperatures. If this happens, we recommend letting the product sit in a warm area before applying to your cover. Please be careful when handling your Cover on Cover in cold temperatures, as it becomes more susceptible to damages if dropped or handled roughly.
- “Cover Only” price change
Due to an increase in material costs and other unavoidable factors, starting with the 2017-edition, it has become difficult to maintain the usual price of our Colors and Faux Fabric covers. In order to maintain the price of the covers, we will be offering these covers at the usual price when bought as a set with the Hobonichi Techo book. We apologize for the trouble, but when ordering the cover without a book, we will not be able to keep that price, so Cover Only orders will cost slightly more. Please add to your cart as a “Book & Cover set” to keep the cover’s lower price.
