The Original Avec, a set of compact 6-month books, is now available for purchase separately as the July-December book.
The Avec is designed to allow users to collect items on its pages without causing unwieldy bulk. It splits the same book, design and all, into a 2-book set at six months each, with only slight variances in calendar spans and the number of extra pages in the back. This allows users to fill the 3.7 mm graph paper to their hearts’ content.
Pages contain Japanese quotes specially selected from Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun articles.
The ice blue book cover is sturdy, making it perfect for use as-is without storing in a cover. And because it's lightweight, it's perfect for carrying around with you.

- Test fountain pens before regular use
The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.
