This cover is customers’ favorite from the Hobonichi Techo 2017 edition.
This cover was created in collaboration with legendary art director and artist Sebastian Masuda. Masuda is the producer of the 6%DOKIDOKI shop that spurred the “Kawaii” Culture in Harajuku. In recent years, Masuda has become a prominent artist around the world with his distinct works bursting with color.
Thank You All is a cover with an all-over print, featuring the photograph of a piece Masuda created based on the Hobonichi Techo slogan, "This is my LIFE." The thrilling piece is jam-packed with cute items such as a little house, donuts, fried eggs, scissors, bicycles, stuffed toys, balls, hearts, dinosaurs, baby dolls… The list goes on! It’s fascinating to look through all the things in this piece.
The cover interior is a bright yellow, and the bookmarks are a neon yellow and neongreen. The bookmark charms contain a circle and a square to evoke the feel of Masuda’s work.
About Sebastian Masuda
Sebastian Masuda is an art director/designer born 1970 who lead the “Kawaii” culture in Harajuku by pushing the boundaries with his designs in art, entertainment, and fashion. His main works include the 6%DOKIDOKI shop in Harajuku, art design for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu music video PONPONPON, production of theatrical restaurant Kawaii Monster Cafe in Harajuku, and more. He opened the art gallery Time After Time Capsule in 2016, hosted in Paris, London, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and will host the gallery for the second time in New York in late October.

In order to provide you with the most satisfaction for your product, we've compiled a list of warnings, potential issues, and tips to keep in mind for this particular product. Please be sure to read this information carefully before placing your order.
- All covers are hand-made and may contain slight variances
Each and every cover is individually sewn by a factory worker hand-operating a sewing machine. Best efforts are made to ensure consistent sizes and specifications, but there may be slight differences.
- Silk printed image may peel off over time
The logo and signature inside the cover are silk-printed onto the cover’s material. This delicate print may peel or come off with daily use. If using a Cover on Cover, the silk print may stick to the plastic and eventually come off with it from the constant contact.
- No outer pocket
This cover does not contain an outer pocket.
- Design may contain smudges or uneven coloring
During the print process, patterns may contain spots where the color has become smudged or uneven.
- White spots around stitching
The design is printed over white material, so the sewing process may expose white areas around the stitches.
- Interior of cover may be loose
The interior of the cover may not be perfectly taut due to limitations during the manufacturing process.
- Avoid pulling the bookmark charm
Please use caution and avoid pulling the charm on the end of the bookmarks, as it may cause them to rip off.
- Sliding no-slip pens into the pen holder
Pens with rubber, non-slip grips may be difficult to slide into the pen holder.
- Maximum pen width of 13.5mm for pen holder
The pen holder is designed to perfectly fit the 12.2mm (0.48”) diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free bonus gift with select Japanese-version Hobonichi Web Shop products. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5mm (0.53”) in diameter.
- Cover on Cover bonus not included
As a cover without any exterior pockets, this product does not come with a free Cover on Cover bonus.
- “Cover Only” price change
Due to an increase in material costs and other unavoidable factors, starting with the 2017-edition, it has become difficult to maintain the usual price of our Colors and Faux Fabric covers. In order to maintain the price of the covers, we will be offering these covers at the usual price when bought as a set with the Hobonichi Techo book. We apologize for the trouble, but when ordering the cover without a book, we will not be able to keep that price, so Cover Only orders will cost slightly more. Please add to your cart as a “Book & Cover set” to keep the cover’s lower price.
