The designs by illustrator hatuca include two themes: animals sniffing out a trail at night, and animals swimming among the stars.



“Light” is a design with foxes and birds out for a night walk deep within the forest as the moon reflects on the surface of the ponds. The yellow background has a watercolor-touch with its uneven coloring.



The other design, “Walk,” shows a big whale and a small dolphin out for a walk — that is, out for a friendly swim beneath a night sky filled with stars. Look closely, and you can even spot Cassiopeia and shooting stars in the sky.



The intricate drawings are printed onto the outside of the clear folders, and the paint-like backgrounds are printed on the inside. Storing papers and photos in the folders separates the overlaid illustrations so you can see them in a new light against the contents.
