The Hobonichi Techo 2018 store will close on August 28th, 11 AM Japan time.
We’ll be closing the Hobonichi Techo Official Store on August 28th, 11 AM Japan time and ending sales for the techo books, covers, and accessories. If you would still like to buy something from the 2018 lineup, it’s your last chance, so make sure to make your purchase before the store closes.
Hobonichi Techo sales will be closed during the following period:
JST: Tues, Aug 28th, 11 AM – Sat, Sep 1st, 11 AM
PT: Mon, Aug 27th, 7 PM – Fri, Aug 31st, 7 PM
ET: Mon, Aug 27th, 10 PM – Fri, Aug 31st, 10 PM
GMT: Tues, Aug 28th, 2 AM – Sat, Sep 1st, 2 AM
AEST: Tues, Aug 28th, 12 PM – Sat, Sep 1st, 12 PM
*We’ll be continuing sales for select 2018 products when the new 2019 store opens, so make sure to keep reading for more information below.
*There will be no further restocks of Hobonichi Techo 2018 covers. We will be removing the Back in Stock notification e-mail signup from these products at the end of July.
Starting with the Hobonichi Techo 2019 lineup, the Cover on Cover will no longer be a free product included with purchases in the Hobonichi Techo Official Store.
Previously, the Cover on Cover was an exclusive bonus item at Tobichi and the online Hobonichi Techo Official Store, and was included with select covers.
However, the types of techo covers in the lineup have increased significantly, making it more complicated to differentiate which covers the bonus Cover on Cover does or does not come with.
As it became more difficult for customers to expect which types of covers included the Cover on Cover, we have decided to remove it from the Hobonichi Store Exclusive list to prevent further confusion. We apologize to customers who have been looking forward to receiving the Cover on Cover as an inclusion in their order.
To compensate for this, we’ll be lowering the price of the A6 Cover on Cover in our online Hobonichi Techo Official Store and Tobichi shops in Tokyo and Kyoto from 216 yen (price when purchased alone) to 108 yen for the duration of the Hobonichi Techo 2019 sales period (September 2018 – August 2019).
*This special price only applies to the A6 Cover on Cover, as the A5 size Cover on Cover had not been a Hobonichi Store Exclusive bonus item.
Some Hobonichi Techo 2018 covers will continue sales in the new store.
